I would like to know if you can conduct a Nikkah ceremony before a civil service registry. My fiance is Indian and will be coming to the UK for the wedding. We will have to give two weeks notice to the registry office once he has his visa to enter the U.K. We want to do the Nikkah as soon as possible as this is best in Islam. And we will then conduct the registry as soon as we are given a date.
Please could you get back to me as soon as possible Insh’ Allaah.

Will it be possible for the Nikah ceremony without the civil ceremony. I am looking to make the commitment in the Islamic way before doing the civil ceremony registration. I would be hoping to do this on the 9th October if possible. My wife to be is not Muslim (inchaAllah, one day) but she is from people of the book.
Look forward to your reply
