Calligraphy Workshop

calligrapher Ghulam Fareed at Leeds Makkah Mosque

On 3rd August 2008, a calligraphy workshop was held at Leeds Makkah Masjid. Calligrapher Ghulam Fareed taught the young enthusiasts how to produce Arabic calligraphic work using traditional pen and ink.

The workshop was well attended by over 25 boys and girls and they thoroughly enjoyed learning Arabic calligraphy.

    Hi,

    I’m looking to take a short lesson in arabic calligraphy, I’m based in Luton but can travel a bit for it. Can anyone help me. I’m 23 years old and don’t want to end up in a mixed class or anything of that nature
