Tajweed and Hifz weekend classes
Makkah Masjid is pleased to announce the beginning of the following weekend classes.
Tajweed classes
>> Learn how to read the Holy Quran correctly
>> Improve your recitation of the Holy Quran
>> Learn the rules of Tajweed
Quran memorisation (Hifz) classes
>> Memorise Surahs of the Holy Quran
>> Recite the Holy Quran with Tajweed
The Life of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
>> Study the life and character of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)
>> Learn about the companions of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)
Time: Every Sunday, 11:30am – 2:45pm
These classes are free and will take place at Al-Madina Masjid, 31 Brudenell Grove. Young boys and adults and welcome to participate in these classes.

Very good, I wish I had a mosque which do free Hifz and Tajweed Classes.

Assalam-u-Alaikum
Unfortunately, we do not have a female teacher who could teach Tajweed. Therefore, the classes are only open to boys and male adults.

Excellent idea - we do need to make our community aware of the Tajweed rules

could you please organise tajweed and quranic mmorisation classes for sisters also. we need these classes too! jazakumAllahkhair.

i go to the classes & i think they are a brilliant idea. but i think that the opportunity is not appreciated enough by some people & that people should not take the opportunity for granted & not mess about so much & cocentrate!
