Fiqh Study Circle

Makkah Masjid is pleased to announce that a regular, weekly study circle has commenced which is being held under the tuition of Qari Hafiz Muhammad Asim. Basic fiqh issues such as cleanliness, prayer, fasting etc will be studied.
The lessons are delivered in both Urdu and English. They are currently held every Sunday after Asr prayer at Makkah Masjid, with facilities available for sisters. All are encouraged to attend.

assalamu alaykum. are the fiqh classes still on? who will be teaching them and will a particular text be used?

Assalam alaikum.
I hope you are well. Unfortunately, the fiqh classes were suspended during the month of Ramadan. Our Imam, Hafiz Qari Muhammad Asim was conducting the classes, but he is away for a few weeks from next week.
We plan to resume them insha Allah once he returns. We will let you know via our website insha Allah. We were not studying a particular text initially, just going through a few basic principles of fiqh and dealing with the fiqh of cleanliness, prayer, zakah, fasting, marriage etc from a Hanafi perspective.
